Connectivity

November 3rd, 2005 | J Lee | Cars

A USB memory stick is supposedly going to replace the in-dash CD changer says Reuters. Why not broaden this idea by standardizing the iPod connector and making it available throughout the industry?  This feature enables you to take  your music/video pleasures when you undock from the car. Sure you can get this included in "special packages" or with the premium priced cars , but why not make Plug-in-play available for all cars?  There is plenty of activities that have been done throughout the years where consumers want connectivity. Whether end-user innovators wire Mac Mini or shuffle PC for in-car usage or concept cars showcasing Palm or PPC connectivity, its obvious there is demand.
