I had a housewarming-Christmas party at my house which I didn’t throw myself.

The new area rug from Muji was victimized twice by spilt red wine by the same person within a 20 minutes time span. I threw it in the washing machine (its 100% cotton) thinking it should be ok. After leaving it out to air dry, streaks of dried color residue formed brought on by the original coloring of the rug…and the wine stains are still there. Hopefully the cleaners will take it/clean it, or I’ll have to bleach the sucker. Anyway, so much for enjoying my new rug…

I’ve learned a new lesson, ban red wine from your parties thrown by you or someone else.
