RIP: Aibo
Sorry to read that Sony while it reorganizes its business will stop production of the robot dog in March. I had been contemplating getting a furry pet but couldn’t stand myself leaving it alone for most of the day. The Aibo is a perfect companion for individuals like myself - who are absent from home for extended periods and lack built-in backyards.
Perhaps they’ll reconsider or not, but the Aibo is one of those products that delivered great impact during its relatively short life.
