Two kinds of people in the world…
Seth makes a point of a product (iPhone) and the consumer audience (wanted or unwanted).
Of the other half who don’t want any part of the iPhone. How many of them will change their minds once:
- the product is available in the stores where people can see, feel, touch, or in other words EXPERIENCE what the PR machine had been ranting about
- their friends, colleagues and family members are getting it
- the product re-establishes the status quo of the user needs segment, product segment, user experience segment…
- the product BECOMES the trend
