BlueSumer: consumers of the Blue Ocean

April 11th, 2007 | J Lee | Seoul Searching, Innovation, Marketing

The BlueSumer geographical information service is available on the NSO web site. BlueSumer as it stands was created to mimic the Blue Ocean Strategy, and helping businesses understand the geographical distribution of niche consumers for launching retail outlets or allocate ad campaigns. Its a good tool for discovering unmet needs or markets.

It all sounds interesting and worth checking out, albeit its in Korean. The agency admits its still a work in progress and will continue adding more information into the system for adequate and relevant search data.
